Finance Transformation Workstream Lead

The Job A Finance Transformation Workstream Lead will be hired for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. Hybrid, 4 days on site. This role will support the finance transformation manager in leading key finance workstreams from process and policy design through to execution.This role will lead critical workstreams within a broad Finance Transformation Programme, and will play a critical part in documenting end-to-end accounting processes and developing clear, comprehensive finance policies that align with the evolving operating model, systems, and regulatory standards.A few key areas: Lead key finance transformation workstreams (eg Fixed Assets, Revenue & Receivables, Inventory, Capital Expenditure), from policy and process design through to execution Translate complex accounting and operational processes into clear, user-friendly documentation for a range of audiences, including finance teams, auditors, and business stakeholders Collaborate with finance process owners and SME's to capture current and future-state processes as part of the transformation programme The business A prestigious organisation going through transformation About You Ability to demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent writing skills and deep understanding of finance operations and controls Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record of driving successful transformation initiatives in complex environments Experience of documenting finance/accounting processes and developing policies in a large organisation or project environment 5 years experience in accounting, finance operations, audit or policy writing roles
