Our client Senstronics is a global manufacturer and supplier of pressure sensing solutions. We supply sensors that use electronic strain gauges to produce very linear and predictable output signals over temperature, which are used as essential technology across different industries for safety and precision.We operate across global markets, and we have ambitious production targets. The Opportunity Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the Head of Engineering play a key role as part of a passionate and ambitious senior leadership team as Senstronics continues to grow and diversify. Developing and embedding engineering excellence, you will provide effective leadership, management and support to your maintenance and engineering teams to enable Senstronics to achieve its mission whilst enabling your teams to reach their full potential. You will continue momentum to truly embed effective PPM’s in this complex and varied site across both plants, assembly and a clean room. With a passion for continuous improvement, you will continue to develop engineering processes and systems to support growth and diversification. You will play a crucial role in the ongoing significant capital investment programme with a further £2.5m investment in even more new technology and machinery throughout both plants. This will include budgetary management and ensuring equipment is commissioned and handed effectively over to production, and the subsequent continued development of a maintenance strategy to meet the needs of increasingly varied plants whilst optimising asset life cycle. About you As an experienced Head of Engineering, you will have an absolute passion for people and demonstrate the ability to lead, inspire, motivate and enable your teams to reach their full potential. You will operate strategically as part of the senior leadership team, fulfilling a proactive and engaged role in the wider business management. You will also demonstrate the ability to develop an effective maintenance & engineering strategy and tactical plan to enable Senstronics to achieve its future ambitions whilst enabling your whole team to truly appreciate the key roles they play. With a degree in engineering, you will have previous experience in delivery of a high-quality engineering & maintenance service in a complex dynamic manufacturing environment which will enable you to contribute effectively to the future growth of the business. Experience as part of a senior leadership team in a manufacturing plant going through a period of change (e.g. rapid growth, acquisition, new product launches etc) would be advantageous.
