Job Description

Temporary Treasury Assistant to support a finance team for 6 weeks with a strong focus on journal entries, cost allocations, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in accounting principles, be comfortable working with high volumes of data, and demonstrate accuracy and timeliness in financial processing. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post general ledger journal entries related to treasury, cash movements, and cost allocations. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies promptly. Assist in cash forecasting by providing accurate transaction data and reconciliation outputs. Support intercompany transactions and settlements as needed. Maintain up-to-date records of treasury transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls. Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries related to payments, cash flow, or cost allocation. Assist in month-end close processes within treasury, ensuring deadlines are met. Support ad hoc treasury and finance projects as required. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting support role (ideally in a corporate or shared service environment). Strong experience with journals, bank reconciliations, and costing. This role is hybrid with 2 days in the office based near Solihull and Birmingham Airport. Part time hours will be considered also
