Were looking for an intelligent and analytical attorney who is excited about moving out of traditional legal practice and into the dynamic world of legal tech. Youll move away from pressurised deadlines and budgets to the quieter, more structured and analytical world of a Legal tech Engineer, automating contracting and compliance processes; and building long-term legal solutions for corporate clients. Youll also have flexible working hours and youll work remotely as part of team of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities: Legal Drafting: Work with our proprietary software to automate the creation of contracts and compliance documents through the development of step-by-step decision trees and logic-based workflows. Problem-Solving & Process Optimization: Use your legal expertise and methodical approach to break down complex legal issues and design software solutions that improve efficiency and compliance. Legal Research & Review: Analyse, review and conduct in-depth legal research. Legal Configuration: Ensure the seamless development and configuration of legal software solutions, focusing on automating legal processes. Essentia Criteria: Admitted Attorney , ideally with experience in a large law firm and with a sound understanding of commercial law and legal drafting. Intelligence and focus: Analytical systems work requires someone with a strong intellect, quiet focus, and an appetite for continuous learning. Attention to Detail & Methodical Approach: You will need a precise and methodical approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all legal documents and software processes are accurate. Experience with In-House Legal Work: Experience in an in-house legal role, working closely with business operations, will also be of benefit to you. Problem-Solving & Creative Logic Skills: Your ability to break down complex problems and use logical steps to design automated solutions is essential.
