Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer with experience in NestJS! Do you enjoy building clean, scalable APIs and high-performance backend systems? We're looking for a passionate developer to join our clients team and help power modern, cloud-ready applications. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing and developing backend services that drive real-world digital experiences. Key Responsibilities: Develop robust, maintainable, and scalable backend services using NestJS (Node.js) Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints Integrate with third-party services, databases, and internal systems Write clean, well-tested code following best practices and design patterns Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams What Were Looking For: Proven experience with NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js Solid understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
