Job Description
LG ELECTRONICS Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, MX Renowned global leader Company is currently Hiring: PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGER This position manages the Production Engineering team in a manufacturing company and is committed to the development, supervision and upgrade of production processes and systems, improving productivity and maintaining competitiveness in the market. Contributes on maximizing efficiency and reducing costs, ensuring compliance with production targets, as well as safety and quality standards. Key Role ·Optimizes, develops, and implements manufacturing processes. ·Manages and develops Production Engineering team, including assigning and supervising tasks. ·Leads engineering projects related to new product launches, process and equipment improvements, and capacity expansion. ·Analyzes production problems, identifies root causes, implements corrective actions to reduce impacts. ·Collaborates with the production, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams, coordinating engineering efforts. ·Monitors and controls production costs by implementing process improvements, reducing scrap, rework, and energy consumption. ·Ensures compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards by integrating new manufacturing technologies. ·Prepares and submits reports on production engineering metrics, process improvements, and project progress to the President's Office, maintaining documentation on operating procedures and process standards. Knowledge and Skills (general and technical) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). Relevant 7 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficient with CAD software, process simulation tools, and ERP systems. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams.
