Security Coordinator

The Security Coordinator will assist the Global Security organization with the implementation of security programs for their respective location(s). The company’s programs will be implemented in a proactive manner while ensuring the appropriate protection of its people and company assets in all forms - property and information. The Security Coordinator is responsible to protect employees and assets by providing advice and counsel to internal customers. To do this effectively, the Location Security Coordinator must be able to implement all relevant loss prevention programs and/or respond to emergencies as they arise. The Location Coordinator will be expected to implement cost-effective and proactive solutions with guidance from the Global Security Organization Principal Responsibilities: Support, implement and maintain the Global Security program to ensure the appropriate protection of its people and company assets in all forms - property and information. The Security Coordinator will be expected to become fully conversant with Corp. Policies, Safeguarding Confidential Information, Internal Control, People etc. Serve as the primary interface with Global Security in order to remain current with Global Security requirements as conditions and situations dictate. Support, implement, maintain and modify where necessary, facility/work function specific procedures to ensure compliance to all Corp. Security Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines. Assess baseline facility/work function procedures and changes thereto, upon the current risk situation of the facility/work function. Communicate to facility/work group employees and provide training sessions regarding security issues required by Global Security. Attend security related training provided by or recommended by the Global Security organization. Provide timely and complete reports of security incidents to HQ Global Security management, appropriate senior facility management and local law enforcement. Experience Required: The successful candidate will be expected to be knowledgeable with respect to the infrastructure, layout of the facility and must be fully capable of deploying the baseline security programs
