PE Investment and huge career progression Location : hybrid, travel to Reading Area office on day 1 and 2 x every month Have you delivered software projects and system implementations (ERP/CRM for example) as a solo Project Manager or part of a small-team? Have you managed multiple projects on the go simultaneously? Have you analysed and configured systems and/or software or technical systems? A forward thinking Software Vendor is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead and manage multiple technical projects and system implementations (such as CRM/ERP/back office systems). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be capable of performing technical tasks such as analysis and configuration. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The main purpose of this role includes planning and orchestrating the work to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include: Technical Project Manager Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Perform technical tasks such as system analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current state of the project. Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed. Experience Required: Technical Project Manager 4 years proven track record of delivering software or system projects on time, on scope, and on budget as a solo PM in an organisation or as part of a small-team Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field Strong technical background with hands-on experience in system analysis and configuration Experience working on back-end projects such as ERP, CRM, or similar systems Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically Excellent communication and interpersonal skills PMP/PRINCE2 or similar project management certification is a plus Proficient in tools like MS Project including writing proper project plans Strong scheduling and organisational skills For more information, please contact Katie at Matched Group .
