Job Description
CFW Industries (Pty) Ltd holds a respected market position in Southern Africa, specialising in designing, manufacturing, and distributing high performance fans for the industrial, mining, power generation, marine, and HVAC sectors. With roots dating back to 1966 under the name Continental Fan Works, our decades of experience have earned us a strong reputation as a preferred supplier to major corporations across the region. Today, CFW fans are proudly used in industrial applications around the globe. We are seeking a skilled and strategic Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations and support business growth through robust planning, reporting, and compliance for our CFW group of companies. Develop, manage, and align annual budgets with company strategy; conduct rolling forecasts and variance analysis. Prepare accurate financial statements and quarterly management reports Monitor daily cash flow, ensure sufficient liquidity, and optimize working capital through effective forecasting and controls. Analyse fixed and variable costs and identify cost saving opportunities Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures, conducting regular audits and reviews. Maintain efficient and reliable financial systems, driving automation and ensuring data accuracy and system uptime. Ensure all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, company tax, etc.) are submitted on time, while minimizing exposure and avoiding penalties. Lead and develop a high performing finance team through training, performance evaluations, and clear role definition. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making, project viability assessments, and investment planning.
