I'm on the lookout for an experienced, field-based Surveyor for a well-respected firm delivering Level 2 and 3 RICS surveys across residential homes. Bullet Points Sound understanding of building construction Great Salary and OTE Your diary filled, no business Development Required Full Job Description In this role, youll be out and aboutinspecting homes, assessing conditions, spotting issues before they become problems, and putting together detailed, professional reports that clients can actually understand and act on. Therell be a limited amount of valuation work in the mix too. Youll be the expert on-site, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and fellow property pros, so strong communication skills are key. If you're confident in your surveying skills and thrive on variety, independence, and responsibility, this ones for you. What Were Looking For We need someone who knows their way around bricks, mortar, and the fine print. Ideally, youll bring the following to the table: Solid experience carrying out residential property surveys and assessments A sound understanding of building construction, current regulations, and safety standards Sharp analytical thinking and a knack for problem-solving on the fly Top-notch written and verbal communicationclarity is key when you're translating property jargon for clients Comfortable working solo and managing your own time while out in the field Confident using surveying tools and modern software (no dusty clipboards here) High attention to detailyou spot the cracks others miss RICS and/or VRS accredited (non-negotiable, we need the real deal) A valid UK driving licenceyoull be on the move, after all. Car Allowance and mileage paid. Must have good recent L2 Building Pathology and Residential Valuation experience L3 support will be provided.
