Human Resources Manager

Package: £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary Location: Northampton (office-based) | Hybrid/Remote options available following probation Overview: We’re partnered with one of the UK’s most ambitious and forward-thinking finance brokerage, a business known for its energy, innovation and results. As they continue to scale, we’re looking for a proven HR Manager to lead their people strategy and drive business growth. For the right individual, this is a chance to take full control of the business HR department, lead it from the ground upwards, and become a crucial part of shaping the future of the business. What you’ll be doing: Drive the development and implementation of core HR policies, processes, and people systems Serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters Lead recruitment, onboarding, and career progression frameworks Oversee performance management, including appraisals and individual development plans Promote a positive culture through wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programmes Manage complex employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary matters Prepare and verify monthly payroll data in collaboration with an external payroll provider Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation, employee records, and reporting systems What you’ll need: CIPD Level 7 (completed) Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within an SME or fast-growing organisation Previous experience in a finance brokerage or lending environment is highly desirable In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and hands-on delivery capabilities Confident working autonomously and influencing senior stakeholders Desirable: Background in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment What you’ll get: Hybrid/flexible working options following probation Enhanced holiday allowance plus bank holidays Clear progression opportunities in a growing business Inclusive, high-energy team culture with regular socials and incentives
