Job Description
Need experience in change/configuration/release/project/infrastructure management areas and client management Tasks & Responsibilities: Manage and maintain multiple test environments, pre-production and the production environment to ensure stability, availability, and performance. Owner of environment documentation such as Architecture, Specifications, Connectivity, IP address and VLAN allocation. Enforcement of document change and version control. Implement and enforce environment management best practices, including configuration management, version control, and change management. Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to schedule and deploy environment updates and changes. Ownership of capacity management for the SG platforms tracking business-as-usual growth alongside forward planning for future non-organic growth. Operate as primary contact for the customer alongside account management to ensure all future customer requirements can be planned accordingly. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand environment requirements and ensure they are met. Plan and execute environment refreshes, upgrades, and migrations as needed. Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all environments via regular review of the security standpoint with the SG Information Security team. Ensure any critical or zero-day security patches are tested deployed with priority. Provide support and guidance to team members on environment-related issues and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in environment management technologies and practices. Requirements: You have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field You have knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance standards related to environment management. You have minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing multiple test, staging or pre-production and a production environment (Change/Release/Infrastructure management) You have experience with cloud-based environments and technologies, ideally VMware vSphere, RedHat Openshift and AWS You have understanding of networking, in particular layer 2, layer 3 and layer 4 principles You are familiar with DevOps practices and tools You have strong understanding of environment management best practices and tools including configuration management, version control and change management You have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills You have strong communication and collaboration skills You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
