Job Description

Real Estate Lawyer A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer (7 years' PQE) to join its highly regarded Real Estate team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier team known for advising on high-profile, complex real estate matters across the UK and internationally. The work is varied and may include investment acquisitions and disposals, asset management, leasing, development projects and joint ventures. You'll work closely with major institutional investors, developers, corporate occupiers and public sector bodies. The team offers strong support and collaboration while also trusting senior lawyers to manage their own matters with a high degree of autonomy. This role would suit someone with a solid track record in real estate who is looking for high-quality work in a flexible and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in real estate law Strong technical and commercial awareness The ability to manage a busy caseload and deliver practical, solutions-focused advice Excellent communication and client relationship skills Qualification in Scotland or in England & Wales (dual-qualified welcome) This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the potential for flexibility around hours.
