Senior Power Analyst, Fundamental – London A leading and forward-thinking energy company is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Analyse UK and European markets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain forecasting models for demand, generation, and pricing. Support power trading activities with real-time insights and data-driven recommendations. Monitor regulatory and policy developments impacting the energy sector. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data analytics and reporting tools. What They’re Looking For: Strong analytical skills with experience in data modelling, coding (Python/R/SQL), or power system analytics. Knowledge of UK and European Gas markets, including trading mechanisms and regulations. 2 years of fundamental Gas analytics experience Proficiency in working with large datasets and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI). A proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively. A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or similar).
