PLC Engineer

The Position As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a PLC Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Utrecht . You will work on challenging automation projects within various high-tech industries. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing PLC solutions. Your responsibilities : Develop, implement, and test PLC software ( Siemens, Beckhoff, Allan Bradley etc .) Collaborate with system engineers, mechanical and electrical teams to integrate automation into vehicle platforms. Support both R&D and serial production environments. Optimize logic, ensure reliability, and assist with troubleshooting during testing and commissioning phases. Contribute to projects involving autonomous driving functions, energy management, and control systems. Your profile : You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation. Hands-on experience with PLCs ( Siemens, Beckhoff, Allan Bradley, structured text, etc .) Experience with mobile systems, industrial machinery, or vehicle automation is a big plus. A proactive mindset and passion for high-tech engineering. Proficiency in Dutch or English.
