Finance Specialist

Role: Finance Specialist & Finance controller Location: Utrecht, Netherlands Duration: Perm Job description In 2021, we launched Capgemini Financial Services as a pension administration organization for one of the largest pension funds in the Netherlands. This expands our current business, IT, and digitalization services to include pension administration. We utilize an innovative and customized IT platform where process automation plays a key role. As a Financial Controller, you will help build our new pension administration organization. Teaser You will support the Finance & Actuarial team with the pension fund's accounting. You will also play a key role in automating all financial processes: you will retrieve changes from various systems and ensure they are processed correctly on the correct platform. You will ensure that employer contributions and incoming value transfers are processed correctly, and that outgoing value transfers and pensions are paid out. You will also audit the accounting and cash flows and prepare monthly reports for the pension and social security funds. Together with the actuarial team, you will provide the correct data for the annual report and to determine the monthly funding ratio. You will also be available to answer financial questions from the pension fund and external accountants. Your home base at Capgemini You will join a team of six financial specialists with actuarial knowledge and varying levels of experience in the field. Everyone is passionate about the characteristics of the pension profession and the challenges of working with financial data. You will work towards a shared goal: the new pension administration organization within Capgemini Financial Services Benelux. What do you bring to the table? You are hands-on and can work well in a team. Your thinking skills allow you to analyze financial data relatively easily. You also have a keen eye for detail. You have a fair amount of experience in finance and have experience with pension plans. You are known for your clear and transparent communication and can adapt quickly. You also have: · A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree · Experience working for a pension fund · Excellent command of Dutch and English
