As a member of a managed services team you will work closely with the Service Lead to deliver support and maintenance services, on level 2 and 3 Operational Technology (OT) applications while driving innovations and add value for the customer. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Review, and update SDLC documentation for automation systems (RS, SDS, HDS, Protocols, etc). Disaster Recovery Planning and testing for OT systems. Join the daily support rota for the support services department. Out of hours On-call Application Support, when required. Periodic reporting of tasks complete and support provided. Drive improvements and innovations across shopfloor applications engaging with Client teams on a regular basis. Specifically focusing on: First line support for end users and technical service departements. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for automation systems, including alarm configuration, redundancy/failover, and data integrity. Periodic performance review in line with the defined system procedures. Assist in project implementations and provide operational feedback to project teams. Act as coordinator site representative in hardware or application vendor/supplier support Various Business Application operational support, maintenance and monitoring. First line support for end users, acting as a super user. Application administration and ownership. Periodic performance review in line with site defined procedures. Lead person in SDLC documentation such as HDS, URS, FRS. Act as coordinator site representative in hardware or application vendor/supplier support Support structured incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL/ITSM best practices. Ensure secure, validated, and GMP-compliant automation solutions, following pharmaceutical industry standards and documentation practices. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for automation and historian systems, including alarm configuration, redundancy/failover, and data integrity. Essential Skills: Experience in Life Science / Pharma and GAMP guidelines Excellent skills in PLC and DCS (Siemens) and SCADA systems (iFix), Siemens PLC programing (TIA portal), OPC Tunnelers (B&R, Matrikon, Kepware) Maintain PLC programs for Automated manufacturing systems and Configure SCADA systems for real-time monitoring & control Experience in a GMP/GxP environment is essential. Good knowledge of process data interfaces such as OPC DA, A&E, UA, Modbus. Good knowledge of MS Office tools usage and automation Good knowledge of SQL database configuration and querying. Good Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Windows 7/10) with knowledge of Active Directory. Understanding of IT Security/cybersecurity. IT Backup & Disaster Recovery. Ability to prioritise the criticality of support issues as they arise and act accordingly Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and reporting attitude. Handle and operate efficiently under pressure.
