AW139 - Engineering & Quality Technical Inspector

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (apply only if you are open to relocation) Position Summary & Scope: Technical Quality & Engineering Inspector is a technical expert for assigned aircraft/workshop and responsible for clearing all the critical (Grounding-X, Circled-X) unscheduled /scheduled maintenance and repair actions on assigned aircraft/components. Technical Inspector is responsible for the daily “by the book” maintenance/repair of all relevant aircraft/components and the proper completion of aircraft daily maintenance and historical records of AW139 Fleet. Required Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or related studies is preferred. EASA B1.3/C and Quality Control Certification or equivalent qualification. AW139 Type Rating from part 147 approved organization. Experience within a CAMO Airworthiness Department or holding equivalent inspector/delegated authority is necessary. Strong knowledge of Aviation Unit Maintenance (AVUM) and Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM). Required Experience: A minimum of 8 years of overall aviation maintenance experience, including at least 5 years specifically on the AW139 platform. 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control, certifying staff roles, or second signatory responsibilities on AW139 aircraft. Experience in Quality Control or second signatory duties related to aircraft modifications is preferred. Strong familiarity with Leonardo Helicopter Division component log cards and aircraft historical records is highly desirable. Experience in both field and intermediate-level maintenance is preferred. Prior knowledge and experience in Search and Rescue (SAR) operations is highly desirable. Working knowledge of military aviation maintenance systems is preferred—ideally TAMMS-A, AMS, AMOS, or TRAX eMRO.
