Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Support preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery (motors, pumps, conveyors, chillers, hydraulics, etc.) Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment breakdowns Learn to perform basic repairs under supervision (welding, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) Adhere to maintenance schedules, keeping accurate logs and records Maintain facility hygiene and equipment sanitation to meet food safety standards Collaborate with operators and staff to minimize downtime Apply safety, compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Participate in projects to upgrade or improve plant reliability What Were Looking For: Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, an engineering diploma/certificate (electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, or refrigeration) OR artisan/trade qualification Interest in food production, plant maintenance, or industrial engineering Ability to follow technical instructions and work as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail Willingness to perform manual and technical tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, safety standards, or production machinery is advantageous Drivers license preferred but not mandatory Available to work January 2026 to January 2027 Why Join Us?
