Job Description

Guesthouse Manager Job Description: Job Duties: Managing all aspects of the guest house operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration Ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction Overseeing staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management Managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner Maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and managing budgets Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Required Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Education: Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of booking systems and hotel management software Understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to multitask and work under pressure Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a guest house or boutique hotel setting Certification in food hygiene and safety Working Conditions: Live-in accommodation provided Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays Fast-paced and dynamic environment
