Job Description
At Grafton, we are looking for the following Sr. Construction Project Manager About the Role: You will be a key leader in multi-project luxury hotel development, coordinating initiatives from the initial opportunity evaluation phase to project launch. This role involves comprehensive and strategic project management in dynamic beach and city environments, ensuring excellence at every stage and the implementation of cutting-edge luxury hospitality technologies. Key Responsibilities: Directly support management in the development of new hotels, covering everything from business opportunity evaluation (due diligence) to overseeing project launch. Lead project management during pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring strict compliance with timelines, legal frameworks, and internal policies. Efficiently coordinate with various internal and external areas, including design, construction, FF&E, OS&E, teams, administration, and accounting. Prepare and present detailed reports, both internal and external, on project progress and status. Rigorously track payments and maintain strict budgetary control of projects. Proactively drive and develop multiple hotel projects simultaneously (1 to 2 hotels), focusing on luxury hospitality and sustainability (Lean Construction, LEED). Demonstrate the ability to identify, prospect, and establish relationships with architectural firms and hotel developers. Act as a problem-solver in architectural design and manage on-site incidents. Typically, this role does not have direct personnel reports, operating as an individual expert within projects. Requirements: Profession: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering. (Master's in Project Management, Construction, Real Estate Development, or MBA is desirable). Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience leading luxury hospitality projects. Languages: Advanced English (Indispensable). Knowledge & Skills: Extensive experience in negotiations, permit management, supplier handling, and construction progress tracking. Proficiency in Office suite (especially Excel) and project management software (MS Project). Exceptional ability to prioritize, establish project goals, and apply management methodologies. Knowledge of Lean Construction and LEED certifications are a plus. Solid ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings. Availability: Full availability to travel to projects (Beach and City).
