Job Description

Supervisor II, Materials This role is within Chamberlain Group's Nogales Manufacturing - Operations group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Supervise all the functions related to material management in the assigned production areas, and (ii) Participate in continuous improvement projects in coordination with leadership; lead simple to moderately complex improvement projects . Requires 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, Prior supervisory or engineering experience and a minimum of a Bachelor´s degree. Supervise all the functions related to material management in the assigned production areas Participate in continuous improvement projects in coordination with leadership; lead simple to moderately complex improvement projects Track and maintain the metrics on the Management for Daily Improvement (MDI) and participate on MDI activities; establish action plans when gaps are identified Ensure optimal allocation of resources across team Track the materials requirement for the warehouse and suppliers; monitor order status and ensure deliveries occur on schedule Review the daily accuracy report and analyze the root causes of the discrepancies found; introduce actions on the MDI Establish procedures for compliance with 6S program ensuring cleanliness, order, discipline and safety in the work areas Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the SAP transactions (COGI and negatives) Develop and supervise safety compliance of trailers that we unload/load at the Nogales plant; ensure compliance with C-TPAT regulations Monitor dock schedule to ensure optimal Materials from suppliers Develop and supervise safety compliance of trailers that we unload/load at the Nogales plant; ensure compliance with C-TPAT regulations Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Education/Certifications: Bachelor´s degree Experience: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Prior supervisory or engineering experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of inventory control Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related applications Other: Intermediate English proficiency
