informatica Support Engineer

Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 support for applications using Informatica, Java, and Kafka . Troubleshoot and resolve ETL jobs, Kafka streaming issues, and Java application errors . Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters , ensuring data streaming efficiency and stability. Support Informatica PowerCenter workflows , debugging failures and optimizing performance. Work on incident management, change requests, and root cause analysis . Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data integration and streaming processes. Required Skills: Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (ETL, workflow development, troubleshooting). Proficiency in Java for debugging and supporting backend applications. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topic creation, performance tuning, monitoring). Good knowledge of SQL and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.). Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Client. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in production support .
