Senior Full Stack Engineer

Senior Fullstack Developer(React/Node) Location: Remote from Spain (Spanish contract) Our team is growing and we're looking for talented Fullstack developers. You will work in a dynamic environment, having the chance to impact the product aspects using multiple scalable, reliable platforms with several products. We are looking for developers with hands-on back-end and front-end experience that feel comfortable working in agile process and adhere self learning. Our customer is a rapidly growing startup from Tel Aviv, that is building an ultimate Vacation Rental Platform to support services for Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, TripAdvisor, Expedia and other property providers at vacation rental market. The platform is developed using the latest technologies and frameworks, Node.js, Mongo, RabbitMQ, and Redis on the server side, and React, Redux on the client side. This position is 90% FE and 10% BE (although strong backend knowledge is needed!) Requirements: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript , at least 5 years of professional experience with web-enabled commercial application development (70% FE, 30% BE in the past experience) Solid experience working with NodeJS (ExpressJS) Experience with ReactJS / Redux Experience with unit/integration tests using: jest, mocha, nock, chai, sinon Experience with Microservices Architecture and message brokers Experience with REST. Experience with the development of microservices communication via queues ( RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka ) Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Have a great product sense and software design sense; excellent technical judgment and architecture experience Passionate about technology, enjoys solving complex problems, and learning new technologies. A team player with strong communication skills Upper-intermediate, advanced written and spoken English Responsibilities: Implement cool new features, services, and APIs Write reusable code and libraries Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability Implement security and data protection Write tests and metrics monitoring modules Ready to work with on-call duties
