Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer - Propel Generative AI at Scale! Our international client is on the lookout for a Senior Azure Data Platform Engineer to build and optimize the infrastructure that powers cutting-edge Generative AI workloads worldwide. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and secure scalable Azure platforms for GenAI (compute, storage, networking, identity) • Implement and manage Terraform-based CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code • Provision and operate GPU-enabled compute resources plus Azure OpenAI & Azure ML workspaces • Automate tasks with PowerShell (error handling, operational scripts) and maintain supporting SQL programs • Enforce security best practices (RBAC, managed identities, network isolation, compliance hardening) • Collaborate with data, analytics and AI teams to architect robust platform solutions • Monitor performance, optimize resource usage and manage cost controls/alerts • Review and improve infrastructure code for scalability, security and best-in-class standards Must-Have Skills & Experience • 5 years as a Cloud/Platform Engineer or Architect (IT-systems focused) • Deep expertise in Azure • Hands-on with GenAI (experience with Azure OpenAI will be a great advantage), Azure ML and AKS deployments • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, YAML/JSON, Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent communication • Practical experience managing GenAI infrastructure and cloud cost optimization Why You’ll Love It • Hybrid work model in one of two beautiful hubs (Barcelona or Madrid) up to 25 days WFA abroad per year • Competitive bonus scheme, pension, employee share program & discounts • Industry-leading digital learning, career mobility & lifelong development • Flexible hours, health & wellbeing perks, parental leave support • Join a culture that champions innovation, collaboration and impact Ready to drive the next generation of AI infrastructure?
