Freelance Commercial Controller

Our client, a Brussels based company active in the FMCG sector, is looking for a Freelance Commercial Controller and FP&A available immediately to join the team on a 4-month part-time assignment (3 to 4 days per week). Key responsibilities of the Freelance Commercial Controller and FP&A: Take ownership of the full P&L for the entity, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Controlling. Act as the key finance reference for the entity, centralizing inputs from various stakeholders. Manage the monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to update weekly sales and results forecasts for upcoming months, presenting insights to executive leadership (General Manager, CFO, Sales Manager). Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of IT tools such as SAP, Oracle EPM, and Power BI. Lead the preparation of budgets and budget revisions for the entity. Key qualifications of the Freelance Commercial Controller and FP&A: A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position; prior experience in the FMCG industry is a strong plus. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch and French is an asset. Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
