Term time only. Contract type Fixed term - Fixed term until August 2026 Full-time equivalent salary £24,404 - £24,790 pro rata, pay award pending Actual salary £18,520 gross per annum = £1,543 gross per month (pay award pending) Pay scale Single Status Grade 4 points 9-10 What skills and experience we're looking for We are seeking a committed and compassionate LearningMentor to join our dedicated team at Ocklynge Junior School. This is arewarding opportunity to support the pastoral, emotional and behaviouraldevelopment of our pupils, helping them to thrive both inside and outside theclassroom. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role insupporting individual children who may face social, emotional or behaviouralchallenges. You'll work closely with teaching staff, parents and otherprofessionals to provide tailored interventions, build trusting relationshipsand foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Thisrole is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in thelives of young people, has strong interpersonal skills and can model our schoolvalues of Responsibility, Respect, Reflection and Resilience. Experienceworking in educational or youth support settings is desirable, but moreimportantly, we're looking for someone with the empathy, patience andmotivation to help children succeed.
