Job Description
Regional Quality Manager Location: Glasgow, Scotland (with regional travel) Package: £60,000 - £70,000 car or car allowance benefits We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to appoint a Regional Quality Manager for their operations in Scotland. This is a senior role focused on ensuring robust quality management across a varied project portfolio and driving continuous improvement across the region. The position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of quality systems, and the ability to influence teams and stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in promoting smarter working practices, improving efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of complex projects. Key responsibilities: Leading regional quality planning, assurance and audit activity Supporting project mobilisation with Quality Readiness Reviews Ensuring compliance with the company’s BMS Driving performance improvement through data analysis and coaching Supporting training, awareness, and change initiatives Collaborating with internal teams and clients on quality matters Supporting bid and tender activity with relevant quality inputs What we’re looking for: Experience in a quality management role within rail, highways or civils Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015) Familiar with core quality tools (5 Whys, 8D, FMEA, APQP) Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Comfortable working independently across a regional remit
