Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst We are working with an exciting FMCG client looking for a Finance Analyst in Ipswich to ensure precise handling of financial and administrative tasks, supporting regulatory compliance and reporting needs, while enhancing the overall efficiency of finance and HR operations. Location: Ipswich – Hybrid Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Industry: FMCG Duties: Perform routine accounting tasks with accurate financial entries and regulatory compliance. Prepare financial data for internal reports and audits. Process supplier invoices and payments in line with company policies. Issue customer invoices and monitor collections to support cash flow. Assist with payroll preparation and HR reporting. Maintain secure and compliant employee records. Handle reception duties and general administrative tasks. Organize documentation to support audits and compliance. Suggest small improvements to streamline finance and admin processes. Provide administrative support across departments. Qualifications / Skills: Holds AAT Level 2/3 or equivalent accounting qualification. Multiple years of experience in finance or administrative roles. Familiar with payroll processes and financial operations. Hands-on experience with HR records and admin support. Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or service industries is a plus. Proficient in accounting software (SAP preferred). Skilled in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level). Knowledge of payroll and HR management systems. Solid grasp of UK financial standards (UK GAAP). Experienced in document handling and reporting procedures.
