Senior Automation Engineer

About the Role The Senior Automation Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of industrial control systems, from concept to commissioning. In addition, you will provide troubleshoot and lead improvements to existing systems to ensure they function reliability and effectively. Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer Role Type: Permanent, Full Time Location: Glasgow Flexibility: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 remote) Responsibilities Leading the design, development and implementation of industrial control systems. Providing troubleshooting and leading improvements to existing systems. Ensuring systems function reliably and effectively. Required Skills Proven experience with the design and development of control systems e.g. PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, etc. Ideally person would be from a GMP environment (e.g. Pharma, Food, FMCG, Chem, etc.), but not essential. Control System experience is ideally with Siemens products. Preferred Skills Experience in a GMP environment. Familiarity with Siemens products.
