Industrial Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing) Durban Job Purpose: Lead and support continuous improvement of plant processes, equipment, and resource utilization. Minimum Requirements: li]:mt-1.5"> Diploma in Industrial Engineering Advanced CAD qualification 5 years experience in a similar role Key Responsibilities: li]:mt-1.5"> Plan and optimize production schedules and processes Maximize manufacturing efficiency and resource use Analyse production data and drive improvements Lead lean initiatives (5S, Standard Work, Kanban, etc.) Implement actions to improve OEE and operational metrics Manage projects and monitor material levels Maintain and update CAD drawings and documentation Facilitate continuous improvement and innovation (Kaizen, Six Sigma, MES, etc.) Support best business practices and quality management Train and mentor staff in Lean and continuous improvement
