Software Engineer

A well-established engineering solutions provider serving clients across multiple industrial sectors, is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join their team based in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal . This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with strong PLC and SCADA experience to contribute to cutting-edge automation projects. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation systems Integrate and configure SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless project execution Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC/SCADA software and hardware Support commissioning and testing phases of projects on client sites Ensure adherence to industry standards and company procedures Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in PLC programming Proven experience working with SCADA systems BSc in Electrical Engineering preferred Alternatively , a strong BTech candidate with relevant experience will be considered Hands-on experience with platforms such as Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, ABB Intermediate-level proficiency with Schneider platforms is highly preferred due to internal systems Excellent problem-solving and project coordination skills Benefits Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
