D365 F&O Finance Integration Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Integration Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to support a strategic public sector digital transformation. This is a fully remote , UK-based role offering a 2-year contract and operating outside IR35 . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement integrations using D365 APIs , including OData , Data Management Package REST API , and DMF packages . Automate data flows for upload, import, transformation, and error handling in batch and near real-time modes. Configure secure authentication (e.g., OAuth with Entra ID ) and monitor integrations for performance, status, and failures. Build and manage integrations using Azure services such as Logic Apps , Blob Storage , Function Apps , and Service Bus . Test and optimise end-to-end integration flows to handle high-volume financial transactions with full audit compliance. Support production issues, investigate root causes, and continuously enhance integration performance and reliability. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience with D365 Finance integrations, including practical knowledge of REST APIs , OData , and DMF . Experience with external financial systems and data consolidation, including XSLT-based mapping and transformation. Proficient with tools such as Postman , Azure Logic Apps , PowerShell , and C# scripting for ETL and orchestration. Strong understanding of XML, CSV, JSON , and techniques for managing large data volumes , idempotency , throttling , and error handling . Skilled in using Azure monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics) to track and optimise integration flows. Experience working in secure, compliant environments , especially when handling sensitive financial data . Background in troubleshooting distributed systems, working with event-driven architectures , and implementing CI/CD pipelines .
