About the Company A well-regarded UK manufacturer of processing equipment for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food sectors is looking for a skilled Design Engineer. The role involves supporting the continued development and refinement of a successful product portfolio. About the Role The Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our product offerings. Responsibilities Design components and assemblies for filling, capping, and inspection systems. Produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure design feasibility. Take part in product testing and iterative improvement. Assist with R&D and value-engineering projects. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally for precision equipment. Required Skills CAD proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Good problem-solving abilities and design-for-manufacture understanding. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food sectors is a plus. Pay range and compensation package Attractive salary of £42,000- £45,000.
