Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical company based in Cambridgeshire who are seeking a dedicated Production Maintenance Engineer. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact by maintaining production assets to ensure the seamless production and packaging of pharmaceutical products. As the Production Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving the efficiency of our client's production processes. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Production Maintenance Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance of production equipment, including manufacturing, filling, and packaging machinery, in line with company procedures and industry best practices to minimise production downtime. 2. Ensuring all maintenance work is correctly documented and recorded to comply with regulatory requirements. 3. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement using problem-solving tools to eliminate waste, improve reliability, and reduce costs. 4. Providing technical support for process investigations and technical setup of production equipment to resolve process issues and enhance setup. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Production Maintenance Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Maintenance, NVQ level 3 or similar. 2. Proven industry experience in a regulated industrial environment, ideally GMP. 3. A working knowledge and practical experience with engineering craft skills, fault-finding capability, and industrial equipment control systems.
