Arden White Aerospace & Aviation Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a market-leading MRO organisation based in Kent in the search for a skilled and proactive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. This is a multi-site leadership position responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the EHS function across three UK locations. You’ll play a critical role in embedding a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Prepare for, manage, and respond to external audits and regulatory inspections. Risk Management Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses. Implement effective risk controls and ensure they are maintained and reviewed. Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective/preventative measures. Policy & Procedure Development Develop, implement, and regularly update EHS policies and procedures. Ensure all documentation is communicated effectively and understood across all levels. Training & Awareness Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees and contractors. Lead site-wide safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns. Ensure all new starters receive thorough EHS induction training. Monitoring & Reporting Maintain accurate records of incidents, audits, and near misses. Track EHS KPIs and use data insights to drive continuous improvement. Present reports and findings to senior management regularly. Site & Project Support Conduct regular site inspections and internal safety audits. Advise project and engineering teams on design-for-safety principles. Oversee EHS considerations during maintenance and construction activities. Environmental Management Manage environmental compliance, including waste management and pollution control. Lead environmental impact assessments and drive sustainability projects. Support the company’s initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint. Occupational Health & Surveillance Implement health surveillance systems to monitor workplace health risks. Ensure COSHH assessments are current and appropriately actioned. Act as a key liaison with occupational health providers where necessary.
