Maintenance Technician

Then this position at Vanderlande, located at the DHL site in Zaltbommel, might be perfect for you! What will you do? As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the advanced Vanderlande systems at the DHL site. In the event of a malfunction, you act quickly and effectively to ensure the continuity of the logistics process. Your tasks will include: Performing preventive and periodic maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control installations. Troubleshooting system failures on mechanical, electrical, and control system levels. Acting as the first point of contact for DHL and the Vanderlande Global Service Desk during technical reports and escalations. Providing functional guidance to your technician colleague and acting as a mentor within the team. Making decisions regarding and handling call-outs, including taking responsibility where needed. Monitoring and updating work logs in the CMMS DOS Maximo maintenance system. Ensuring correct and timely handover during shift changes. Actively contributing ideas for improvements in processes, systems, and team development. What do we offer? A challenging position with plenty of responsibility in a high-tech environment. What do you bring? A completed MBO degree (secondary vocational education) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience with maintenance work on mechanical and electrical installations. You are decisive, have strong communication skills, and enjoy taking on a coordinating role. Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation.
