Mechanical Engineer – Design Innovative Helideck Structures Want to play a key role in designing aluminium structures for helidecks used worldwide? At our partner, you'll contribute to technically challenging projects that impact safety and innovation in aviation, offshore, and healthcare industries. What will you do? As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design custom 3D models for clients and translate technical requirements into a full drawing package for production. You’ll work independently on sub-projects within a team and coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers or development partners. Your tasks: Translate customer requirements into detailed 3D models using Tekla; Create drawings and bills of materials for production and service use; Advise on the manufacturability of design solutions; Monitor progress, specifications, and quality standards; Coordinate with partners and report issues or necessary adjustments. What do you bring? A completed HBO-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; At least 2 years of experience in a similar role; Hands-on experience with Tekla is essential; Eager to learn, flexible, and capable of working independently and within a team; Proficient in English (Dutch is a plus); Possession of a valid driver’s license and your own transportation; Living in or near Tholen, Heijningen, or in between.
