Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities Provide end-user support in a Windows environment, handling both routine and complex technical issues. Act as the Campus Support Engineer based in Ede, delivering on-site support services. Perform deskside support for VIP users, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution of issues. Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or TopDesk to log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests. Handle server and storage hardware break/fix activities, ensuring continuous infrastructure reliability. Execute high-level installations and configurations of storage and network devices using advanced tools and technical expertise. Leverage in-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from team members or clients. Test and certify mainframes, servers, and related network infrastructure and peripherals to ensure compatibility and performance standards. Communicate effectively in both Dutch and English, providing support across multilingual environments. Key Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Technical certification or Associate Degree preferred Typically requires 4–6 years of experience in a similar technical support or infrastructure role
