VBH is looking for a proactive and skilled AV Specialist to help design, configure, and deliver the AV systems that make our smart Superyachts truly exceptional. What you’ll do: As our AV Specialist , you’re the technical backbone of AV deployment in high-impact projects. From concept to configuration and installation, you make sure our AV systems run like a dream – and meet every spec, standard, and expectation. What you’ll be doing: Designing, configuring, and deploying advanced AV systems on board, based on functional designs; Translating project requirements into concrete configurations and system setups; Analyzing and optimizing system designs, advising on improvements and alternatives; Drafting technical documentation and equipment lists; Collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and engineers to deliver within budget and timeline; Identifying challenges, solving problems on the go, and ensuring we stay ahead of issues; Supporting knowledge sharing and best practices across the AV team; Guiding AV Specialist A colleagues operationally within projects; Occasionally training users on handling and managing AV systems on board. Where will you work? Our HQ is based in Weesp (Greater Amsterdam), but your scope is global. You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, and suppliers around the world – on-site at shipyards where your systems come to life. What do you take home? A bike plan (Lease a bike) What you bring on board: A degree in a technical field is a plus; Strong knowledge of AV design, AV/IT network infrastructure, and system configuration; Preferably certified in Crestron Digital Media and Dante or similar systems; A driver’s license (B); Solid experience with one or more of the following: IPTV, audio systems, or video systems; A proactive, problem-solving mindset – you anticipate, plan, and act; Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); Confidence to work independently in a complex environment; A collaborative attitude and an excellent team player; Curiosity to innovate, improve, and grow in your role.
