Work location: Paseo de la Reforma 26 Work schedule: Monday to Friday business hours Responsabilities: • Assist in the accurate and timely processing of U.S. payrolls. • Cross-train with the Lead Payroll Specialist to ensure back-up support for all payroll processes. • Process new hire integrations from Workday and maintain employee pay-related records in ADP. • Review daily integration files from Workday for accuracy and notify the Workday team of any potential errors. • Update payroll records by entering employee changes, such as tax withholding exemptions, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) contribution changes, and direct deposit. • Liaise with Human Resources regarding leaves of absence and related payroll deductions for unpaid leaves. • Assist in the resolution of payroll discrepancies. • Import employee timecards and assisting with ensuring hourly timecards are approved by managers in a timely manner. • Review the time off files from Workday for accuracy and importing the files into ADP for processing. • Assist with the distribution of pay statements to employees. • Payroll tax account registrations and in maintaining good standing with various taxing agencies. • Assist in the preparation of month and quarter-end accruals for the accounting team. • Assist with monitoring the shared Payroll email inbox and responding to employee questions in a timely and professional manner. • Assist with the preparation of a variety of payroll reports. • Assist with enrolling employees in the Company’s HSAs using the HSA enrollment reports from Workday. • Maintain working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws, benefit programs (i.e., FSA, HSA), and the Company’s Employee Handbook policies. • Assist with requests for employment verifications. • Respond to internal and external audit requests in a timely and professional manner. • Maintain the Auto Allowance payment file. • Ability to take on more responsibility while delivering successful results. • Solid verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. • Adaptable, open to change and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information and unexpected circumstances. • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including the ability to easily convey concepts and priorities, as well as the ability to solicit feedback and inputs. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of Associates degree. • 2 years of experience in payroll, finance, accounting or bookkeeping role. • 4 years of experience working in a customer focused role requiring attention to detail. • Demonstrated strong organizational and time-management skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite
