Project Engineer

Join a leading manufacturing company in the Western Cape as a Project Engineer! In this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, define project requirements, and ensure successful execution from start to finish. Key responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to source quotes that meet technical specs, identifying new suppliers when needed, and negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions. You will oversee raw material procurement, manage pre-fabrication processes, and prepare detailed manufacturing instructions. Monitoring project progress, managing schedules and budgets, and reporting in weekly management meetings will also be part of your duties. You will also ensure all documentation is delivered to clients and that all work complies with company QHSE standards. To succeed in this role, you must have a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering and proven project engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
