Job Description
We’re looking for a confident, analytical, and innovative AI Engineer (Data Scientist) to represent iOCO at the forefront of client-facing data and AI projects. In this role, you won’t just be behind the scenes—you’ll be the face of iOCO, partnering directly with clients and internal teams to solve real-world problems through data and AI-driven innovation. What you’ll do: Client Engagement Strategic Impact Act as the primary data science representative for iOCO on client projects, building strong, trust-based relationships. Lead conversations with internal and external stakeholders to shape, influence, and guide AI and data-driven initiatives. Translate business problems into data science solutions, working closely with client teams to deliver measurable value. AI Adoption Innovation Contribute to iOCO’s AI adoption journey, driving awareness and implementing AI solutions within client and internal environments. Support the development and delivery of AI-enabled projects, from ideation through deployment and optimization. Data Analysis Insights Analyze large and complex datasets to extract trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Deliver impactful recommendations that improve decision-making and drive business outcomes. Model Development Build, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models across a variety of use cases. Apply best practices in experimentation, model selection, and performance evaluation. Data Preparation Management Prepare high-quality datasets through data cleaning, transformation, and pipeline development. Support scalable data infrastructure and ensure reliability across solutions. Visualisation Reporting Create compelling visualisations and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Documentation Best Practices Document methodologies, workflows, and code for transparency and knowledge sharing. Promote data science standards and contribute to internal frameworks and guidelines. What we’re looking for: Experience 3 - 4 years in a data science or analytics role, preferably in a consulting or client-facing environment. Proven experience deploying machine learning models in production settings. Experience working on AI projects and delivering tangible business value. Technical Skills Strong skills in Python or R, with experience in ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Proficient in SQL and data manipulation. Skilled in building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) knowledge is essential Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to confidently represent iOCO in meetings and presentations. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
