Area Sales Representative (Pharmaceuticals) (JB5499) East Rand, Johannesburg, Field Based R25 30 000 basic per month fuel card uncapped commission Permanent Looking for a confident and self-motivated sales professional to drive direct sales of a generic (GX) product range to independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors across the East Rand. This role is relationship-heavy, results-driven, and ideal for someone who thrives in a territory with no formulary support and no corporate crutches. Minimum Requirements: Diploma or degree (science, healthcare, or business-related preferred) Minimum 2 years experience in direct pharmaceutical sales to independent practices Experience with RepWise and SSV software Valid drivers licence, reliable car, and willingness to travel Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident, energetic, and results-oriented Able to plan and manage own sales cycle effectively Driven, presentable, and able to build lasting relationships in the field Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets Conduct face-to-face visits and relationship-building with pharmacies and GPs Manage territory through structured planning, targeted customer calls, and activity tracking Promote products, resolve customer queries, and ensure excellent service delivery Maintain accurate reporting, customer records, and compliance with SOPs Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
