Job Description
Minimum Job Requirements: Matric. Diploma in Architectural Draughtsman (with extensive experience in Revit). Diploma in Project Management, an added advantage. Building Engineering or Building Science qualification (advantageous). Minimum 3 to 5 yearsâ experience in a Management role. Competencies: Good negotiation and communication skills. Excellent planning and organising skills. Ability to coach and mentor others. Able to work independently. Duties and Responsibilities: Report to the Regional Executive: Provide leadership on design and development via the Lowveld Regional office. Research and develop retail initiatives to enhance retail sales, profitability and improve market share. Stimulate a culture of innovation and CI adherence. Ensure that all branding and image specifications are updated and maintained. Develop and maintain SOP for the development and store planning teams while maintaining a regional SOP library. Provide leadership on legislative and regulatory requirements pertaining to the design and development and projects within the region. Maintain a national and regional preferred supplier list. Review and assist with the regional preferred supplier listings. Provide leadership in the control and management of supplier cost to retail at regional level. Achieve agreed targets and budgets for regional projects.
