SUMMARY Responsible for startup, maintenance, and emergency repairs of Vertiv Air Conditioning products, as well as other contracted systems. Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with customers, sales personnel, distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuous communication with Call Control and the department Manager/Supervisor. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Respond professionally to all assigned service calls during duty hours. Perform all work safely, following company safety policies. Adhere to current codes of practice and legislation relevant to tasks. Properly account for spare parts using established procedures. Assist in maintaining a minimum 90% planned maintenance completion rate. Support call control in scheduling, planning, and completing work using established workflows. Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs. Maintain accurate customer listings and report errors via site change forms. Support the company's vision and management decisions. Follow all ISO 9001:2000 processes. Keep company vehicle clean and well-maintained. Care for all tooling and property issued for tasks. Work as part of the service team. Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks. Submit daily paperwork accurately and timely. For Wireless Field Service, debrief at the customer's premises when possible. Be available to work during weekends and nights. Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department. Provide positive influence to peers. Offer on-site technical assistance for difficult problems. Collaborate with department supervisors, sales personnel, contracts engineers, and managers. Attend customer meetings as required. Ensure compliance with export/import regulations and supply chain security policies. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Experience in a technical service or testing environment related to air conditioning equipment. Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook). Previous field service experience essential. Self-motivated with good planning, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure. Valid and clean driving license. WORKING CONDITIONS Significant after-hours and weekend work, often scheduled with little notice. Daily travel to customer sites; occasional overnight stays or long-distance travel. Heavy lifting may be required. Work as part of a team. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota. Potential international travel. Company uniform provided, to be worn at all times during work.
