Junior Accountant

Job & Company Descriptions A prominent player in the packaging industry, and were looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Support daily accounting tasks, including data entry and reconciliations Process invoices, payments, and staff expense claims Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Help ensure VAT and tax compliance submissions are accurate and timely Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable Assist in audit preparation and year-end close processes Provide general support across the finance department as needed Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 12 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred) Solid Excel skills and computer literacy (experience with accounting software is an advantage) High attention to detail and strong time management A proactive work ethic and eagerness to learn Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
