Cost Account Jr. Analyst

The Cost Account Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate monthly cost reporting and supporting the financial closing process. This role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of cost flows, and proactive analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. The position collaborates with business operations and IT teams to enhance cost efficiency and supports decision-making through detailed financial insights. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monthly Cost Registration & Financial Accuracy Record and review monthly cost data to ensure the accuracy of financial reports. Review and validate cost vouchers and supporting documents prior to payment processing. Ensure timely and accurate SAP period closing , including inventory valuation and cost booking. Trace and verify cost-related data across systems and investigate discrepancies. Manage inventory control in the system and follow up to resolve any issues impacting cost accuracy. Consider future cost implications aligned with business growth and scaling. 2. Process Improvement & System Optimization Collaborate with Business Operations and IT to improve cost accounting processes and automate workflows. Identify process inefficiencies and suggest system enhancements to ensure better data integrity and operational alignment. 3. Cost Analysis & Reporting Conduct in-depth cost analysis to support management decision-making . Evaluate cost structures by type (materials, labor, overhead) to identify areas for optimization. Prepare reports and visualizations to highlight cost reduction opportunities and support strategic planning. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Maximum 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis , preferably in automotive industries. Able to work 100% on site in Polaco zone Proficiency in SAP (CO/FI modules) and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of cost flows, inventory control, and variance analysis. Attention to detail, with ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities. English professional proficiency for financial reporting and cross-functional collaboration with global teams.
