AutoCAD Technician - Fabrications Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Location: Sheffield Hours: 37 per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-15:30) Benefits: Private medical insurance, bonus scheme Overview: Metalis are currently supporting a leading engineering company in Sheffield who are seeking an AutoCAD Technician to join their close-knit, supportive design team. The role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years' experience in technical drawing. This is a fixed on site office role, the company does not work remote or hybrid. Key Responsibilities: Create 2D AutoCAD site layouts and section drawings Produce drawings for sheet metal fabrication products Assist in developing BOMs and production drawings Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, and managers Maintain and organise technical documents according to internal processesRequirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, some basic 3D Good telephone manner and communication skills Previous experience with fabrication or building support drawings is desirable but not essentialIf you feel this role could be a great fit for you, please apply with your CV.
