Are you a Estimator looking for your next step in Civil Engineering? Day Rate: Competitive, Umbrella PAYE or LTD Company Contract Length: 1 year Location: Brighton VGC are currently supporting our Client who are working on various Water projects along the south of England. Estimator Key Responsibilities: Essential skills; Knowledge and understanding of civil construction (typically earthworks, R.C bases, roads, retaining structures, tanks/chambers, pipework, and ductwork) and associated civils temporary works Qualified in a civil engineering discipline Ability to manage and prioritise a high volume of work that requires completion within tight timeframes to meet the demands of the contract and the timely completion of multiple concurrent tenders with a fast turnaround in a Framework Environment High level of competence using MS Excel Desirable skills; Experience of water and / or utilities sector Experience of working within a multi-discipline engineering environment Knowledge and appreciation of sewage treatment processes, water treatment processes and pumping systems Holding a current relevant CSCS Card Proven experience producing bottom-up estimates If you are interested in the role of Estimator please get in touch and we will be in contact shortly
